About Us
Bornassab Studio is a multidisciplinary practice based in Los Angeles, working at the intersection of architecture, animation, and radical spatial exploration. We focus on morphology, mutant forms, and tectonics, exploring these themes through rigorous experimentation. Our approach blends digital visualization and physical model-making to investigate contemporary design challenges. The studio’s work spans building design, furniture, and installations, often realized through close collaboration with artists and consultants at every stage of the process.
About Borna
Borna Nassab is the founder and principal of Bornassab Studio. Before launching his practice, he worked with several renowned design firms, including Optimist Inc., HDA-X (Xefirotarch), and Mayes Office. During this time, Borna contributed to a diverse range of projects, from spec homes and multi-family developments to museums, art installations, stage and set designs, experiential environments, and product design.
Beyond the design realm, Borna’s passion for the built environment has led to collaborations with real estate development companies, private equity firms, and financial institutions. Through these partnerships, he has overseen every aspect of development projects from site identification and underwriting to design, construction, and final asset disposition.
